Susan B Cole

Born on September 20, 1947 in Oklahoma to Vincent and Pauline Bergschnieder. Preceded in death by her brother Paul and survived by her partner in life; David, her sister Vincie, her niece Christina and the loves of her heart her three step-grandkids; Ethan, Alex, and Emily.

Graduate of her beloved OSU, leader in ROTC, beauty of the homecoming court, administrator of a law office in Tulsa, Oklahoma and co-owner of one of the largest art galleries west of the Mississippi River in Denver, Colorado. Her flair for art and design was epic. Her love of fashion and hats will always mark her to her friends as the "Hat Lady". Her compassion, warmth, and smile for all that she met, despite the constant pain she was in will always mark her as a woman to admire.

Susan left the physical pain of this life on April 29, 2019 to be eternally pain free with her Lord and family.
Susan read a daily devotional and the one she had set out for the morning she passed away (in her sleep) was written for her. Based on Mark 4:39 it reads: "I close my eyes and allow my attention to move from my thoughts to the presence of GOD with me, dropping deeper into stillness as though sinking into water. Just as sounds become muffled in that vacuum, outside noise becomes muted as i deepen my awareness of GOD. In the silence, I am free from the noise of my thoughts; I am free from anxiety, stress, fear, and pain. I REST IN THE SILENCE"
Rest in peace and without pain my dear sweet Susan. You will be missed. Now you can soar with the eagles.

Donations can be made to Susan and her Poppa's favorite Charity: Meals on Wheels.

If once again I could see that smile
And hold your hand for a little while
I'd let you know how much you're missed
And definitely steal one final kiss
Rest in peace my dear sweet Susan

I am so sad to learn of Susan's passing, which I just found out about today. She and I lived next door to each other in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, from grade school until we both left to attend OSU. We were best friends in grade school and stayed close after that. The last time I saw her was at our 25th high school reunion, We spent a lot of time together and toured our old neighborhood, remembering all the good times we had growing up. I lost track of her, and had been trying to locate her recently, not knowing of her death. I am so sorry for her family and friends. Rest in peace, and know that you are always in my memory. Dear "Miss Susan", heaven will be a more beautiful place now that you are there. Such a gracious and
talented lady. As my daughter said, she was stunning. A true beauty inside and out. We are so sad you
have left this world, but glad you no longer need to suffer. My condolences to David, and the family
you adored. Love sent, "Miss Linda".
