Obituary

Marlin Mae Hunter was born May 23, 1942 in Liberal Missouri the fourth child and only daughter to Mabel and William Franklin Smith. She survived three older brothers, Norman, Melvin, Calvin and her younger brother Marvin. Marlin died October 7, 2020.

Marlin married Richard Hunter in 1963 and moved to Grand Forks North Dakota. Once Richard left the Airforce they moved to Windsor CO, and eventually settled in Littleton CO. She had two children, Holly Hunter, now married to Dan Worley and Nathan, now married to Barb. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, Joshua Worley, Chandler Worley, William Hunter and Sarahann Hunter, whom she was very proud of. Marlin was devoted to caring for her family and loved entertaining, especially during Christmas. Walking into her house Christmas Day you would find her in the kitchen cooking her favorite recipes. She was a skilled cook and enjoyed cooking for the family. Her Christmas tree was a thing of pride, with so many ornaments you wonder how it could stand and an abundance of thoughtful gifts packed underneath.

She enjoyed traveling, square dancing, cooking, remodeling her home and gardening. Once her children were in their high school years she studied to work in the Medical records field.

Marlin was welcoming and a joy to be around with her beautiful smile and gentle manor, we will all miss her dearly.
