Obituary for Lucille Sanchez (Sanchez)

Lucy passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was born in Walsenburg Colorado and grew up in Florence Colorado.

She graduated from high school in 1947 and soon moved to Pueblo to find a job. She shortly met Arthur Sanchez, the man she would marry and spend the next 68 years with. In 1950 Arthur was drafted into the army and she moved to Alabama to be close to him. After Arthur was discharged from the army, they moved to Denver where they bought a house and raised 3 sons. Over the years Lucy had several jobs, from cooking for Denver Public Schools, to managing a small depot store. No matter what her job was, Lucy loved taking care of her family the most.
